Please read this Great article on the eminent domain fallout. I especially like the next to last sentence:

She says that the Court has done the property-rights cause an unintentional favor by highlighting takings for private use that have been going on for a long time without much public notice.

I’ve argued the same, ironic point. Anyone following eminent domain abuse knows that this kind of thing has happened for years in every state. Now, at least, it has been exposed, and it won’t survive the blinding light of public scrutiny and outrage.
