Entitlement — A Toxic Liberal Compound

This story reminds me of the Los Angeles garden squatter’s eviction where morally-confused actress Daryl Hannah “protested” by hanging out in a tree, eventually getting arrested to remind the world of her selfless, activist, proletariat credentials.

Poor Daryl. As we say in the South, “It’s a pretty house, but nobody’s home.”

Now it’s Squatters in Denmark who are proving that collectivists the world over suffer from brain rot brought on by consumption of liberalism. The youth, with their fragile minds, are most susceptible to injury.

COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) — Police searched homes in the Danish capital on Saturday for activists involved in street clashes that began when police evicted squatters from an abandoned building that has served as a center for anarchists, leftists and punk rockers. …

“This is a display of anger and rage after more than seven years of struggle to keep what is ours,” Jan, a 22-year-old activist who said he has been coming to the building for the last 10 years, told The Associated Press by telephone. He declined to give his last name, saying that was the norm among the people frequenting the building.

“To keep what is ours.” Like the thugs in LA who had no legal right to the land they occupied, this “activist” believes the building belongs to him — is his property — simply because he has occupied it. In other words, he believes he is entitled to the property, and entitlement is one of the more toxic liberal compounds.
