New blog category: “stupidia academia”

We’ve written extensively in this blog on the insanity going on in American colleges and universities, and today we introduce a new category for this genre: stupidia academia. Check in frequently for humorous and depressing stories from the leftist utopia of “academia”.

For example, in the last few days, we’ve followed the story of a moronic professor, John Daly, in posts here and here. Daly is a perfect specimen of stupidia academia. We’ve e-mailed the good doctor and anxiously await his reply, and in the unlikely event that he responds, we’ll post his full response here for good sport. Don’t hold your breath, however.

To kick off this new category, we have this incredible story from professor Mike Adams. For those not familiar with his work, Adams is a crusader professor documenting how our publicly-funded centers of “higher learning” have been infested by leftist lunatics, and his articles are always hilarious (and hard to believe). His latest, Hunting for feminist scholars is no exception.

This one is so whacky that we’ll whet your appetite with Adams’ introduction and invite you to read this ridiculous story of feminism gone mad. You can’t make this stuff up:

These three feminists — who were outraged by the release of a cheap porn video, which featured naked women being hunted down and shot with paintball guns -– were inspired to present this recent exhibition of feminist rage as form of legitimate scholarship.

After reminding us that contemporary feminist theory has long connected hunting with sex and women with animals, the authors claim to have found “clear evidence of the juxtaposition of hunting, sex, women, and animals in the photographs, narratives, and advertisements” from a random sampling of “Traditional Bow-hunter” magazines published over a twelve year period. They emphasize “random samplings” in order to remind us that feminist sociologists are real scientists, too.

And that’s just the beginning!
