Gas Panic in Georgia

Is there a Gasoline panic throughout the country, or is what’s happening in the South an anomaly?

Gas stations in Georgia are running out of gasoline. Some are closing shop, and the ones still open have long lines reminiscent of the 70’s oil crisis. People filling up their tanks are filling up portable, plastic gas containers as well. The price of regular unleaded has soared by 50 cents or more a gallon in the last day, with prices of $3.20/gallon being common.

Inquiring minds want to know. Comments are welcome.
